Personal and Household Goods ETF
There are a number of different and varying companies included in this personal and household goods ETF. Of course they all have in common that they supply products for people and households.
You will find tobacco manufacturers but also companies that produce personal health care products or a company like Adidas.
As we are talking about such a mixed group of companies here it is difficult to find common ground. One thing however is certain: if things go well for consumers in Europe, things go well for these companies.
Lyxor STOXX Europe 600 Personal and Household Goods UCITS ETF
This Lyxor Personal and Household Goods ETF is tracking the Stoxx Europe 600 Personal & Household Goods Net Return index.
In total this personal and household goods ETF includes 30 large European companies where Unilever is the dominant one with an 18% share. Then follows British American Tobacco with a 15% share and Reckitt Benckiser with a share of 9%.
Looking at this personal and household goods ETF from a geographical perspective the UK is predominant here with a 60% share so mind the rate of the British Pound. Second comes in France with a share of 17% and then we will find Switzerland with an 8% share so mind the Swiss Franc too!
All in all this ETF only includes 35% of companies with a Euro quotation. That is the real challenge here: a mixed line-up of companies combined with multiple currency issues.
On the other hand, this same challenge may give some nice entry points and results may be higher than expected too. This makes it an interesting ETF which would otherwise be a very dull one considering the very stable market sector this ETF is tracking.
