Corn ETF

The main market for corn is human consumption. The maize kernels are grinded so they can be used in all sorts of food products. As with every crop corn is also vulnerable to diseases, plagues and bad weather.

On the demand side bio fuel has become a new market for corn. Prices for this corn ETF are driven by exceeding demands or crop problems. Doubling or tripling corn prices may happen with 1 year and the same goes for price moves in the opposite direction so it is a very volatile market.

My strategy is to get in this corn ETF with prudent positions when corn prices are low and to get out timely leaving the top of the market for the lucky ones.
