US Industrials ETF
This US industrials ETF is all about American industrial companies. You will find many very large industrial corporations in this ETF divided among several market sectors. Due to the largesse of these companies they are not exclusively depended upon the US domestic economy.
Most companies included in this US Industrials ETF are heavily depended upon exports so you must take the evolution of the global economy into account.
Talking about “industrial” you might think that only companies involved in heavy industry are included but in the US they see things a bit broader. So do not be surprised to find a variety of companies in this US industrials ETF next to the usual suspects that are active in manufacturing of machinery and the like.
Vanguard Industrials ETF
This Vanguard Industrials ETF is tracking the MSCI US Investable Market Industrials 25/50 Index.
You will see companies such as parcel carriers UPS and FedEx but also airlines such as Southwest and American Airlines. But of course traditional industrial manufacturers are also included. Almost 350 companies are included in this US industrials ETF.
So it’s a large ETF with a very nice spread in top companies. The largest company included is General Electric with a 10% weighing. Then 3M and Boeing will follow with a share of 4% each.
